About This Project

We recently completed our work on the education booklet for the Kindertransport ‘Suitcase’ project.

Working with Hope Street Ltd we created the education resource to to provide some teaching ideas and background material to complement the performances of ‘Suitcase’,  a show about the kindertransport at stations around the U.K.

Kindertransport was a movement that evacuated Jewish children from Europe from the increasing threat they and their families faced just prior to the Second World War.

Manchester Jewish Museum were kind enough to provide us with some amazing images which really helped put the booklet into a historical context.

The education booklet was designed, created and printed to accompany the train station, site specific, theatre experience which is currently touring the UK (mock travel stickers were created for the front and back covers to illustrate the cities visited by the team.)

The client was extremely pleased with the end result and commented:

“The booklet was made clearer, more interesting and easier to follow by the thoughtful design that truly considered the end users of the pack.”
